+ Pick Up Requirements

Payment for your items must be made in advance of your pick up. Your items will be boxed and ready for you to take back to your vehicle. When you arrive, we kindly ask that you wait until the pickup area is clear before coming up to collect your items.

Just a reminder by law, a valid PAL must be presented when picking up firearms or ammunition.

+ Can I change my preference from ship to pick up or vice versa?

If you selected “ship” when you registered your item will be with our shipping department. Do NOT make an appointment for pick up. Please contact us at admin@switzersauction.com to determine if we can change your preference. If you wish to ship your items instead of picking them up, please email us admin@switzersauction.com and we will adjust this for you.

+ When can I pick up my Restricted or Prohibited Firearms?

We will be in touch with you once we have received the required paperwork. If you have purchased other items and wish to have them shipped in advance, please email us with this preference.

+ Storage fees

Items not picked up within the alloted pick up period of a sale will be charged a storage fee of $5 per day. Please see lot 0A of each sale for applicable dates. This fee does not apply to buyers who are waiting for firearm transfers to be completed.

+ Drop off Requirements

If you have a detailed list of the items you're dropping off, that's fantastic! It helps us make the curbside process smoother and ensures we can identify your items quickly. If you don’t have a list, no worries you’ll receive the details of your consignments with your cheque remittance.

If possible, please print a list and include it with your items. When you arrive, please remain in your vehicle until the drop-off area is clear to ensure a smooth handover.

+ Consignments not Permitted

There are specific types of consignments we cannot or will not sell. There may be restrictions on the sale of these items, they may not be suitable for sale or they are prohibited from being shipped. Please read this list carefully:

• Green corroded ammunition
• Moldy, dirty clothing or uniforms
• Gun powder, smokeless powder, black powder
• Incendiary ammunition
• Under 106mm pistol barrels not installed on a firearm
• Liquids, gun oils, cleaning products or scent removers
• Gun catalogs, blue books, gun digest or paper magazines (Pre-1960 firearm catalogs are OK)
• Broken or damaged gun stocks (not repairable)
• MT modern paper ammo boxes (pre-1960 vintage OK)
• Empty 12ga hulls (new, 20ga, 28ga, 410ga OK)
• Aluminum or steel fired casings
• Modern replica firearms (Antique replicas OK)

• Enter your customer details. Required fields are marked with a *
• Click Complete Appointment.
• Your booking is now complete. You will receive an email confirming your appointment details.
